This vintage bias cut evening gown and jacket dates from the 1930s. It is made of a dusty rose pink textured rayon blend fabric with a palm leaf design. This beautiful two piece ensemble includes a long bias cut gown with a matching jacket. The sleeveless gown has a halter style top with a blue silk chiffon insert on the front and a V back with a small train on the back. There is a matching fabric belt with snaps for closure. The gown measures 60 inches long, with 36 inch hips, a 28 inch waist and 34 inch bust. The matching jacket is made of a blue silk chiffon with the textured pink fabric accents. There is an open front with no closure and large bishop style sleeves. It measures 23 inches long with a 36 inch bust. This outstanding outfit is in excellent wearable condition with only a small pull in the fabric on the back hem which is difficult to see.
