Victorian era girl's red calico cotton dress dates from the 1880s.
It is made of a red calico cotton fabric with pink leaves and a
black and white floral print design. The dress has a ruffled collar
neck and layered ruffle skirt hem. There are hand stitched button
holes with carved red buttons down the front for closure. This darling
precious little girl's dress has both machine and hand stitch work
with wonderful detail and a fitted style. It measures 30 inches
long, with a 24 inch waist and 24 inch chest. The dress has three
small age spots on the back skirt. There is some slight fading on
the back of the sleeves with a few small patched mends on the elbows.
