vintage Chinese floral silk embroidered coat dates from the 1960s.
It is made of a pale sky blue silk rayon blend fabric with hand
embroidery work. The coat is embroidered with a variety of colorful
flowers, some done in roundel style medallions. There is a white
silk embroidered collar, cuffs, and trim, with a mandarin style
collar, and red silk button toggles down the front for closure.
This beautiful loose fitting box style robe coat is fully lined
in blue silk with a "Golden Bee Made in China" label and
size L tag sewn inside. The coat measures 29 inches long, with a
44 inch waist, and bust. It is in excellent clean wearable condition
and is truly a piece of wearable art. $150 |
