exquisite Edwardian era embroidered white batiste dress dates from
1905. It is made of a fine white cotton batiste fabric with padded
satin stitch embroidery work, French knots and drawn cut work. This
two piece dress includes a separate matching blouse and skirt. There
is white lace trim edging the blouse and a lace yoke with high neck
collar. The blouse is fully lined in white cotton with hooks and
eyes down the back for closure. This beautiful blouse measures 17
inches long, with a 24 inch waist, 34 inch bust and 13 inch back.
There is a pleated full skirt, with matching embroidery work around
the bottom. The skirt measures 40 inches long, with a 23 inch. This
lovely lace two piece dress could be worn as a wedding gown or for
a graduation. It is in excellent clean wearable condition with only
two tiny pin holes on the back bottom skirt. $250 |
