vintage Lilli Ann embroidered three piece suit dates from the 1970s.
It is made of a bright tangerine orange colored cotton silk blend
fabric with colorful silk embroidery work. This stunning three piece
suit includes a jacket, skirt and slacks. The jacket has a Chinese
Asian style with a mandarin collar, black silk button loop toggles
for closure, and embroidered flowers, butterfly and peacock. There
is a "Lilli Ann Paris - San Francisco" label and size
10 tag sewn inside. The jacket is fully lined and measures 29 inches
long, with 40 inch hips, waist, bust and a 15 inch back. There is
a matching fabric pencil skirt and fitted slacks. The skirt measures
29 inches long, with 40 inch hips and 26 inch waist. The pants measure
45 inches long, with a 33 inch inseam, 40 inch hips and a 26 inch
waist. Lilli Ann was started in San Francisco in 1933 by Adolph
Schuman, naming his company for his wife Lillian. The company became
known for their beautiful, elaborately designed suits and coats.
