This vintage floral rayon beaded drop waist dress dates from the 1940s. It is made of a black silk crepe bodice and a black rayon skirt with a bright colorful floral stem leaf print design. There is a floral cut out appliqué sewn onto the front bodice and outlined in colored beading. This lovely dress has a drop waist skirt, fitted bodice with short sleeves and a plunging V fold over neckline. There is a metal side zipper for closure. The dress measures 40 inches long, with 36 inch hips, a 28 inch waist, 36 inch bust, and 14 inch back. It is in good clean wearable condition with only a few tiny pin holes in the skirt. This is a wonderful piece of wearable art.
