This vintage Mademoiselle Juliette brown crepe beaded evening gown dates from the 1940s. It is made of a two tone copper brown silk crepe fabric with bronze beading outlining scrolling brown silk soutache work. The beaded soutache work trim design is sewn onto the front bodice yoke. This elegant evening gown dress is fitted with long tapered sleeves, a small fold over collar, and front draping skirt. There is a metal zipper down the back for closure. The gown measures 50 inches long, with 40 inch hips, a 28 inch waist, 40 inch bust, and 15 inch back. It is in good clean wearable condition with only three tiny frayed tears on one sleeve near the elbow. This is a wonderful piece of wearable art.
