Edwardian era ladies linen duster motoring coat dates from 1905.
It is made of a fine quality ecru linen fabric. This double breasted
ladies coat has a front button flap closure with large pearl white
buttons, a small collar and rolled cuffs, gathered shoulders with
long tapered sleeves, and two deep front pockets. The coat would
have been worn to protect ones clothing from the dust and mud when
riding and driving in a motor car. It measures 47 inches long, with
54 inch hips, a 46 inch waist, 44 inch bust, and 15 inch back. This
rare floor length loose fitting ladies coat is in excellent clean
wearable condition.
