Victorian era black lace jet beaded cape dates from the 1890s. It
is made of a sheer black net lace, with black jet beaded trim around
the neck. There is gathered black silk ribbon bow trim around the
high neck collar. This magnificent mourning mantle style short cape,
capelet is fully lined in a sheer black windowpane cotton fabric.
The cape measures 23 inches long, with a 14 1/2 inch neck, and 93
inch bottom circumference. It is in excellent wearable condition.
