Victorian era antique striped twill wool mantle capelet dates from
1890. It is made of a fine twill wool striped fabric of dark olive
green and purple. This wonderful winter mantle style short cape
has a stand up collar which can also be worn folded down, with gathered
shoulders, and hooks & eyes down the front for closure. The
capelet is fully lined in purple velvet, with a black silk waist
tie sewn inside, and measures 24 inches long, 16 inches across the
shoulders, with a 16 inch neck, and 60 inch bottom circumference.
It is in excellent wearable condition with no moth damage. $100 |
