Victorian era white batiste lace petticoat skirt dates from 1900.
It is made of a fine white cotton batiste fabric, with lace trim
inserts, and raised padded satin stitch embroidery work. This fabulous
full floor length petticoat has an uneven handkerchief skirt layered
bottom. There is a gathered back waistband, with button closure,
and a small red "G. W." initialed label. The petticoat
measures 40 inches long, with a 27 inch waist. This pretty petticoat
is in excellent clean wearable condition. It could easily be worn
today as a summer skirt. $175 |
