This antique Edwardian era tambour embroidery net lace dress dates from 1905. It is made of a sheer fine white net fabric, with floral tambour embroidery work, and filet lace trim. There are a variety of laces used to create the dress. This exceptional dress has a squared front neckline, with a layered bodice, draping plait over each shoulder, short sleeves, and a button snap front closure. There is a tiered layered full floor length skirt, with lace trim sewn around the waistband, and flower trim on the front. This lovely lace tea gown graduation dress could also be worn as a bridal wedding gown. The dress measures 62 inches long, with 36 inch hips, a 26 inch waist, and 36 inch bust. It is in excellent clean wearable condition, with only a few tiny pin holes in the net. This is a wonderful piece of wearable romantically feminine antique textile lace art.
