This antique Titanic Edwardian era white net peplum tea dress dates from 1912. It is made of a sheer fine white floral net with cream silk edging trim, and white windowpane muslin floral embroidered fabric. This exceptional dress has a layered style, with a draping plait over each shoulder, short ruffled net sleeves, a plunging V net front neckline, and front snap closures. There is a tiered layered, peplum waist, floor length hobble skirt, with a cream silk taffeta wide ribbon bow sash sewn around the waistband. This lovely lace tea gown graduation dress could also be worn as a bridal wedding gown. The dress measures 57 inches long, with 34 inch hips, a 24 inch waist, and 34 inch bust. It is in excellent clean wearable condition, with only a small hole on the back net skirt hem. This is a wonderful piece of wearable romantically feminine antique textile lace art.
