This vintage B. Altman blue velvet pleated cloak cape dates from the 1940s. It is made of a dark royal blue color luxurious silk velvet fabric. This gorgeous quality made evening cloak cape is mid length, has gathered pleating around the shoulders and back, with shoulder padding inside and a single red rhinestone gold flower button closure at the neck. It is fully lined, with a "B. Altman & Co. Paris New York" store label sewn inside. The cape measures 33 inches long, 17 inches across the shoulders and is 88 inches in circumference.
