Spider Chrysanthemum Silk Wedding Gown. |
This vintage Japanese silk wedding wedding gown dates from 1945. It is made of a white ivory color fine silk fabric with a Japanese spider chrysanthemum flower jacquard woven pattern design. This beautiful bridal wedding gown is form fitting, floor length, with a key hole opening front and back, cap sleeves and a draping peplum waist front. There are several tiny snaps for closure down the back. The dress measures 59 inches long, with 36 inch hips, a 23 inch waist and 36 inch bust. It is in excellent clean wearable condition. This gown was custom made with fabric brought back from Japan after the war WWII. There is a note that states this was a "1945 Wedding Dress". $150 |
