Ecru Silk Rhinestone Beaded Drop Waist Flapper Dress. |
This vintage Art Deco ecru silk rhinestone beaded drop waist flapper dress dates from the 1920s. It is made of a ecru beige color sheer silk chiffon fabric, with hand sewn beading done in a floral daisy pattern design. There is crystal silver and white beading, with prong set rhinestones. This fabulous flapper dress is a large size, has a loose fitting drop waist style, sleeveless, with a beaded triangle shape cut out rounded scoop neckline and oval beaded applique's sewn onto the side waist. The dress measures 46 inches long, with 40 inch hips, waist and bust. It is in good wearable condition, with only a few small faint stains on the front top, a couple tiny pin holes and some loose missing beads (see close-ups). This is a wonderful piece of wearable beaded flapper textile art.
