The gown is made of a Victorian era black net soutache embroidered fabric, but remade into a 1930s style with added sleeve trim. This beautiful black dress is a long floor length with a loose fitting style, long full bishop style sleeves trimmed in black silk stripes, a ruffled flounce net collar neckline, fully lined in a black silk taffeta fabric and has no side or back opening closures. The dress measures 50 inches long, with 44 inch hips, a 36 inch waist, 38 inch bust, 15 inch back and 23 inch long sleeves. It is in good condition. This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable art!
