It is made of a beautiful brocaded fabric woven with heavy gold lamé metallic thread and colorful silk threads creating a fabulous floral roses, raised textured weave pattern design. This exquisite charming child's chapan caftan coat robe has a black & white silk braided rope trim edging, with knotted round button toggle loop closures down the front, long full sleeves and is fully lined in a lilac color silk fabric. It could also be worn as a womens small size short jacket top. The coat measures 21 inches long, with a 30 inch waist, 30 inch chest, 8 inch long sleeves and 11 inch circumference arm holes. It is in good condition, with only a few small frayed open seams. This is truly a rare and wonderful piece of wearable antique Bukhara Uzbek textile art!
