This unworn vintage Tern Floating Sportswear gold lamé halter pinup swimsuit dates from the 1950s. It is made of a black, blue and gold lamé dashes design pattern fabric. This retro pinup style womens one piece bathing has a halter top adjustable necktie strap, black bow tie, ruffle trim front top, gathering along the sides, elastic ruche gathered smocking on the back and a skirt skort panty bottom. It is fully lined in white cotton, with a unique flotation device sewn inside of 3 by 1 inch buoyant squares on both the front and back creating a stiff fitted design. There is a "Tern Floating Sportswear St. Lin, Que. Canada, USA Patent Pending" label size M tag sewn inside. The swimsuit measures 22 inches long, with 30 inch hips, a 26 inch waist and 34 inch bust.
