& Gold Silk Slipper Shoes. |

vintage pair of black and gold silk slipper shoes dates from the
1930s. They are made of a black silk satin fabric with gold leather
backing and trim. The shoes are lined in pink silk with the original
label inside which reads "Made for Sommer & Kaufmann San
Francisco". They have criss-cross straps, open toes and small
boulevard heels. These slipper style shoes measure 9 inches long,
2 1/2 inches wide with a 2 1/2 inch heel and are approximately a
size 6 narrow. They are in excellent unused never worn condition.
