Victorian
Iridescent Bronze Leather Lace-up Boots. |
| This
pair of Victorian era iridescent bronze lace-up boots dates from
1890. They are made of a iridescent purplish bronze leather with
witch style very pointy toes. The boots have metal eyelet's with
the original laces and French spool heels. They have a label inside
which reads "B. Forman & Sons". The boots measure
11 inches long, 2 1/2 inches wide, with 3 inch heels and are 11
inches tall. These antique boots are difficult to size for today's
foot but my guess would be about a size 7. They are very narrow
with small ankles and calves. They would make for a good display
piece. The boots have been gently worn and there is a small repair
to the bottom sole. See bottom photo. $150 |
