This pair of early white kid wedding shoes date from the 1850s. They are made of white kid leather with kid bows on the fronts. These early wedding slipper style shoes have straight leather bottom soles, small kid leather covered French heels, and squared toes with no left or right. They are lined in kid leather with a paper label inside one shoe which reads "T.E. Moseley & Co. Boston." The shoes measure 9 1/2 inches long and 2 1/4 inches wide. They have been gently worn and have been restitched and mended on the backs. See bottom photo for close-up.
