This vintage pair of I. Miller red satin platform shoes dates from the 1940s. They are made of a red silk satin fabric with lattice work peek-a-boo straps on the instep, an open toe, and a front platform lift. These unique quality made shoes have adjustable wrap around ankle straps with rhinestone buckle closures. The shoes are stamped inside on the insoles "I. Miller - New York". They measure 9 1/2 inches long, 3 inches wide, with 4 inch satin covered boulevard heels, and are approximately a size 7. The shoes have been gently worn and are still in good wearable condition.
