This pair of unworn antique Chinese pink silk embroidered shoes dates from the 1920s. They are all hand stitched and made of pink silk with colorful pastel floral silk embroidery work and black silk trim piping along the top. There are butterflies, and flowers hand embroidered throughout. These dainty small slipper style slip-on shoes might have been made for a child. They have hard leather bottom soles, low stacked heels and are fully lined in blue linen with Chinese characters ink stamped inside. The shoes measure only 6 1/2 inches long and 2 inches wide. They are in excellent clean condition and have never been worn. These are a beautiful piece of antique Chinese textile art and would make for a wonderful display piece.
