Victorian
Black & White High Top Button Boots. |

| This
pair of Victorian era black and white high top button boots dates
from 1900. They are made of a supple black leather shoe with an
off white leather upper boot. The boots have pointy toes, with twelve
black buttons along the side for closure, and stacked black wooden
French spool heels. They are lined with white leather around the
inside tops and stamped "Rosenthal's Inc." The boots measure
10 inches tall, 11 inches long, 3 inches wide, with 3 inch high
heels. These two-tone antique boots are difficult to size for today's
foot but my guess would be about a size 7. They are very narrow
with small ankles and calves and would make for a good display piece.
The boots are in excellent wearable condition and have been gently
worn with minor scuffing. These are beautiful quality made boots.
