This pair of unworn Victorian era black leather lace-up boots dates from 1900. They are made of a supple black leather. The boots have rounded toes with decorative punch work designs, the original black shoe laces and stacked black wooden French spool heels. They are lined with green silk around the inside tops and are stamped inside "Albert J. Holzhauser Mt. Healthy Ohio". The boots measure 9 inches tall, 10 inches long, 2 3/4 inches wide, with 2 inch high heels. These antique boots are difficult to size for today's foot but my guess would be about a size 5 1/2 or 6 narrow width. They are very narrow with small ankles and calves and would make for a good display piece. The boots are old store stock and have never been worn. They are in good unused condition with only a small top part of the inside leather tongue missing on one boot. These are beautiful quality made boots.
