This pair of antique Victorian era brown high top button baby boots date from the 1880s. They are made of a supple light brown beige tan leather with 4 original black buttons down the scalloped edged sides for closure. There are rounded toes, scalloped tops, and hard leather bottom soles stamped with an incised 2. The boots measure 3 inches tall, 4 1/2 inches long, and 2 inches wide. These precious tiny baby boots have been gently worn and would make for a wonderful display item. There is some minor wear with slight scuffing along the toes. They appear to be both for the right foot with the buttons going down the right side on both pairs. These would be great for a antique doll or teddy bear.
