This pair of unworn vintage purple suede reptile print shoes date from the early 1940s. They are made of a supple purple suede leather, with a decorative swirling purple reptile snake print design on the fronts, and purple silk ribbon ties. There are modified French heels covered with a purple snake print leather. The shoes are lined, and have a "John J. Damrich Mobile, Ala." label stamped inside. These beautiful quality made shoes measure 9 1/2 inches long, 2 1/2 inches wide, with 3 inch high heels. My guess on size would be a 6 narrow width. The shoes are old store stock, and have never been worn. They are in unworn excellent clean wearable condition.
