Deco Black & Yellow Leather Flapper Shoes. |
This
pair of vintage Art Deco black and yellow leather flapper shoes
date from the roaring 1920s. They are made of a two tone color design
of black patent leather with a golden yellow suede trim edging the
top and backs. There is a tiny carved decorative button trim sewn
onto the front instep vamps. These stunning slip-on style shoes
have a decorative flap tongue trim and French spool heels. They
are stamped inside "D. D. Mahony's & Sons Lawrence, MA."
The shoes measure 9 inches long, 2 3/4 inches wide, with 2 1/2 inch
high heels. My guess on size would be about a 6 narrow width. They
are in good wearable condition and have been gently worn. $100 |
