Victorian era black mourning bonnet dates from 1880. It is made
of a black silk grosgrain fabric with black silk ribbon ties. The
bonnet is decorated with black feather beaded trim and blue silk
clustered berries. On the back of the bonnet is a black jet beaded
bar pin. The bonnet is lined in a gathered polished brown cotton
fabric. It measures 9 inches tall and 7 inches wide. This unique
bonnet is in excellent wearable condition. The blue silk berries
do need to be reattached to the top. $75 |
