| This
late Edwardian era black straw and white silk wide brim hat dates
from 1915. It is made of a tightly woven black straw crown with
a large off white silk covered wide brim. There is a black silk
grosgrain ribbon hat band and trim edging along the brim. This early
cloche style hat has a wide brim and deep round crown which is lined
in a black silk fabric with a "Murray - Pairs- Minneapolis"
label sewn inside. The hat measures 23 inches inside crown circumference
and is 46 inches outside. It is in excellent clean wearable condition.
