Beige Beaverette Wide Brim Hat. |

Edwardian era beige beaverette wide brim hat dates from 1905. It
is made of a grayish brown beige plush napped felt fur with a wide
brim and small round crown. The hat has a colorful floral silk ribbon
hat band, with a beige feather and silk bow on the back. I am not
sure if the trimmings are original to the hat. This unique colored
grand hat would have sat atop a large Gibson Girl hair style. It
measures 20 inches inside crown circumference and has a 52 inches
outside circumference. There is no fabric lining inside the crown.
It is in excellent clean wearable condition. $150 |
