vintage designer Henri Bendel white silk chiffon and lace wedding
hat dates from the 1970s. It is made of a tightly woven white horse
hair straw and covered with a layered white sheer silk chiffon fabric.
Underneath the wide floppy brim is lined with white lace. There
is a long white chiffon hat band ribbon sash draping down the back.
The hat has combs attached inside for securing to the hair and a
"Henri Bendel - New York" label. Henri Bendel is an upscale
women's specialty store, established in New York City in 1896. This
beautiful bridal wedding hat is quality made with hand stitched
lace. The hat measures 24 inches inside crown circumference and
50 inches outside. It is in excellent clean wearable condition.
