Red White & Blue Bonnet. |

Victorian era red white and blue bonnet dates from the 1880s. It
is made of a small fabric covered base, with blue and white wool
felt braided and woven together. There are blue velvet fabric inserts
and ribbon ties for securing under the chin. The bonnet is decorated
with red silk flowers on either side and black jet beaded trim medallions
on the back. This unique patriotic colored half bonnet is fully
lined in black silk with a "W.B. Crocker 155 Fremont St. Boston"
label inside. The bonnet measures 6 x 6 inches. This beautiful bonnet
is in excellent wearable condition with only some slight damage
to one of the jet beaded trims and one ribbon tie is ripped. $125 |
