Victorian era velvet and gold metallic beaded bonnet dates from
the 1880s. It is made of a crescent moon shaped base covered with
gold metallic lamé braided trim and pearl beading. There
is a dark midnight blue silk velvet fabric bow on the top with white
feather trim. This unique elegant evening half bonnet is lined in
white silk with a "George W. Allen Hatter & Furrier"
label inside. The bonnet measures 18 inches in circumference. This
beautiful bonnet is in good wearable condition with only some fraying
of the inside silk lining and label. $125 |
