vintage Irene of New York beaded lamé skull cap hat dates
from the early 1960s. It is made of a gold and blue lamé
silk metallic brocade fabric covered with looped iridescent crystal
beading fringe. This beautiful beaded form fitting skull cap style
hat has hair combs attached inside for securing to the hair. There
is a green silk satin lining, with a "Irene of New York"
and "Saks Fifth Avenue Millinery Salon" label sewn inside.
The inside crown measures 20 inches in circumference. It is in excellent
clean wearable condition, with no missing or loose beads. $50 |
