This vintage Valerie Modes wool veil snood beret tam hat dates from the 1940s. It is made of an ecru grayish beige color wool felt fabric, with a sheer brown net veil covering the front face and back in a snood on the back of the head to hold the hair. This beautiful beret style ladies tam hat has a brown silk grosgrain ribbon trim bow on back. There is a "Valerie Modes" designer label and "Merrimac Hat Corp. Excello" stamped inside. The hat measures 22 inches inside crown circumference. It is in excellent wearable condition. $50 |
