This antique tambour embroidered net lace bedspread and sham dates from the 1920s. It is made of an ecru cotton net with machine done tambour embroidery work. There are large silk embroidered padded stitch flowers and drawn cut work designs. This matching two piece set includes a bedspread with built in pillow sham and a separate pillow sham style runner. There is an embroidered scalloped edging surrounding both pieces. The bedspread measures 110 inches long and 60 inches wide, with an additional 17 inch long ruffle on each side. The separate pillow sham piece measures 76 inches long and 32 inches wide. This lovely Novelty lace bedspread set is in excellent clean usable condition with only a few tiny pin holes in the net which is difficult to see.
