This extra large fabulous French antique gold metallic rosette boudoir pillow dates from the 1920s. It is made of a variety of gold metallic lamé trims. There is a gold mesh center with a silver lavender metallic brocade ribbon and small round cut pastel gold metallic trim surrounding it. The outer portion has brown pleated silk with gold metallic brocade ribbon and gold lace edging with more round cut trim accents. There is a small silk rosette flower on the top which has some slight wear. This exceptional one of a kind large round boudoir pillow is stuffed with down feathers and has a beige linen backing. It measures 60 inches in circumference, 8 inches high and is 25 inches wide. The pillow is in excellent useable condition with some nice antique patina on the metallic trim. It is truly a rare find of antique textile art.
