antique Chinese hand painted peacock feather fan dates from the
1920s. It is made of hand painted white feathers with peacock eye
feathers around the top. The peacock is a symbol of elegance, dignity
and beauty. There is a colorful red, green and blue hand painted
design of peacocks, butterflies, and flowers done on both sides.
The sticks and guards are made of a carved pierced ivory bone with
Chinese characters, and a brass loop rivet on the bottom. This fabulous
folding fan measures 13 inches long and 28 inches wide when opened.
It is in excellent useable condition. This is truly a beautiful
