This rare unused vintage Lenthéric compact and clutch purse boxed set dates from the 1940s. There is black silk velvet clutch style purse, with gold metallic thread stitching woven through in an abstract leaf print design. The purse has an etched gold metal frame, with a rhinestone front clasp, and a fabric loop on the back for carrying. It is fully lined in white silk with the original comb, coin purse, and attached beveled mirror inside. The purse measures 7 1/2 inches long, and 5 inches tall. Included inside the purse is a black and gold mirrored compact, with the original paper "Lenthéric" label, and powder puff. These Art Deco styled items come in the original box, with the Lenthéric logo on the front. The house of Lenthéric was established in Paris in the late 19th century and today, is one of the oldest and most celebrated perfume brands in the world. This rare unused boxed set has never been used, and is in excellent clean condition.
