French Normandy Lace Bedspread. |

exquisite antique French Normandy lace bedspread dates from the
1920s. It is made of a patchwork of cream colored off white polka
dot net, circular raised padded satin stitch embroidered batiste
centers, and Valencienne lace trim insert edging. This lovely lace
bedspread bed cover is a work of art, and is a kind of sampler of
a variety of lace techniques. The bedspread has a built in pillow
sham sewn along the top, with draping side ruffle edges. This beautiful
bedspread measures 93 inches long, 52 inches wide, with an additional
16 inch long ruffle on each side. It is in good clean useable condition
with no stains. There are a few tiny pin holes. This is a rare and
