Deco Manhill Paris Steel Cut Beaded Purse. |
This
exquisite antique Art Deco Manhill Paris steel cut beaded purse
dates from the 1950s. It is made up of tiny steel cut beads in gold
and silver done in an Art Deco abstract floral pattern design. The
purse has a hinged front flap top opening with white raised beaded
work done in a diamond grid pattern. There is a beaded strap handle
attached for carrying. The inside is fully lined in a golden yellow
silk satin fabric, with a "Maroquinerie Manhill 1. Rue de Castiglione
Paris" label sewn inside and the original beveled mirror and
coin purse. This quality made hand beaded purse measures 9 1/2 inches
wide and 6 1/2 inches tall. It is in excellent clean useable condition
with no missing beads or staining and looks to have never been used. $200 |
