This
antique Edwardian era black ostrich feather fan dates from 1910.
It is made of fluffy black ostrich feathers plumes. There are faux
tortoise shell celluloid sticks and the two guards have carved raised
quill bumps to simulate the ostrich leather skin. There is a loop
and black silk velvet ribbon bow trim on the bottom for carrying.
This fabulous fan measures 13 inches long and 31 inches wide when
opened. It is in excellent useable condition. $150 |
