This antique Victorian era burgundy red silk wood hand painted floral fan dates from 1900. It is made of a burgundy red silk fabric, with a hand painted floral vine leaf design. There are matching painted wood sticks and guards, with gold sequin accents and a brass loop and rivet at the bottom holding the fan together. The fan measures 11 inches long and 30 inches wide when opened. It is in good useable condition, with only some slight fraying along the scalloped silk top edging (see close-up). $50 |
