This vintage beach seashell shells wooden box purse dates from the 1960s It is made of a wooden hard shell box shape covered with a variety of tiny seashells. Each shell has been hand glued, some are painted, others have tiny colorful beaded accents. There is a detailed diamond design, with a patchwork pattern quilt inspired motif. This custom hand made handbag purse has a white rope strap covered with a plastic tubing, a rope loop button clasp closure on the front and is fully lined inside with a bright blue bold floral pattern cotton fabric lining. The purse measures 8 inches long, 3 1/2 inches wide and 4 1/2 inches tall. It is in excellent condition, with only a few missing shells which is barely noticeable.
