This vintage Chloe Preston children's Kewpie illustration print linen parasol dates from the 1920s. It is made of an off white linen fabric, with muted color cute snub nosed children Kewpie like and animals at play in adult guise illustrations by the British children's artist Chloe Preston. There is a wooden handle and finial top with blue gathered scrunchie fabric trim, button strap closure and blue rope strap attached to the bottom handle for carrying. This whimsical charming child's pretty parasol umbrella has a black metal frame mechanism inside. The parasol measures 23 inches long and 90 inches in circumference when opened. It is in good usable condition, with only some small faint age spot stains. This is truly a wonderful piece of textile art!
