This Victorian era antique white beds maltese bobbin lace collar capelet dates from 1890. It is hand made of a sheer off white bobbin lace beds maltese style with petal leaves, flowers, scrolling pattern designs and connecting brides and bars. This lovely large lace round collar shawl style capelet has a scalloped trim bottom edging and snaps have been added on the front for closure. The collar measures 80 inches in circumference, 15 inches long and has a 19 inch neck. It is in excellent clean wearable condition and is wonderful piece of wearable antique textile lace art.
