This vintage Kelli Murphey red chenille peplum skirt jacket dates from the 1980s. It is made of varying shades of red, pink, silver and black chenille fabric done in an abstract design pattern. This elegant evening jacket has a tailored style, with a peplum skirted waist, an attached black velvet pleated gathered cummerbund waistband with button closure, large wide broad shoulder padding, 3/4 length sleeves and a V front neckline. It is fully lined in black silk, with a "Kelli Murphey" designer label sewn inside. The jacket measures 31 inches long, with a 30 inch waist, 38 inch bust and 14 inch back. This retro "Dynasty" fashion inspired lavish jacket is in excellent wearable condition.
