This vintage ecru tambour embroidery net lace bias cut dress gown & slip dates from the 1930s. It is made of a off white ecru cream color cotton sheer net fabric, with tambour embroidery work done in a floral vine leaf pattern design. There are blue grosgrain ribbon bow trim accents on the front. This gorgeous garden party gown bias cut dress is floor length, with a long full skirt, short puffy sleeves, squared sweetheart neckline with gathering, a belted tie back and side snap closures. It is fully lined with a cream color slip dress lining sewn inside and layered tulle net petticoat with blue ribbon bow trim accents. There is a "Original Design DCSB Patent Applied For" label sewn inside. The dress measures 60 inches long, with a 28 inch waist and 34 inch bust. It is in good wearable condition, but has not been cleaned and has some faint yellowing water spot stains on the skirt. There is a small mended repair on the inside slip top. This is a wonderful piece of wearable art!
